The 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLC Class offers 3 engines, namely:

  • 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 255 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque
  • 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-6 engine 385 horsepower and 384 pound-feet of torque (AMG GLC 43)
  • 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 engine with 469 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque (AMG GLC 63)
  • a beefier version of the 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V-8 engine that puts out 503 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque.

All the engines come mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. While the standard drivetrain is a rear-wheel-drive system, a 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system is available. Regardless of the powertrain, the GLC Class offers snappy acceleration.

The AMG badge adds power to the already potent GLC Class SUV. The AMG GLC 63 S is powered by a Handcrafted AMG 4.0-liter bi-turbo V-8 engine that puts out 489 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque. The engine is mated to an AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9-speed automatic transmission and the power is distributed to all four wheels with the help of an AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive system. This powers the AMG GLC 63 to propel it to 60 MPH from a standstill in just 3.8 seconds. The 4-wheel independent AMG Sport suspension based on AIR BODY CONTROL system helps you to hit corners without having to flinch.
