2021 Mercedes-Benz GLB Class Engine Specs
Mercedes-Benz offers two powertrains for the GLB Class – a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that puts out 221 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, and an AMG Enhanced 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that pumps out 302 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque.
Both the powertrains come mated to an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. While the base GLB 250’s drivetrain is a front-wheel drive, the GLB 250 4MATIC and the AMG GLB 35 are equipped with the 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system. The power output is balanced throughout the rev band making the GLB Class a fun SUV to drive.
2021 Mercedes-Benz AMG GLB 35 Specs and Features
If you are looking for better performance in a compact SUV package, the Mercedes-Benz AMG GLB 35 is a good option to go for. The AMG GLB 35 is powered by an AMG Enhanced 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four-cylinder engine that puts out 302 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. The engine comes mated to an AMG SPEEDSHIFT® DCT 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
The power is sent out to all the four wheels through the AMG Performance 4MATIC® all-wheel-drive system. Additionally, the AMG GLB 35 is also equipped with an array of AMG components such as the AMG High-performance braking system, AMG Sport Exhaust System, and AMG RIDE CONTROL Sport Suspension with 3-stage damping, to name a few. All this technology helps the AMG GLB 35 to cross the 60 MPH mark from a standstill in 5.1 seconds.
